Graniteville man arrested for murder of Warrenville man

AIKEN, S.C. – The Aiken County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man for the murder of a 68-year-old Warrenville man.

Investigators say Pete Joel Williams of Graniteville confessed to killing John Barrs.

Barrs was found beaten to death in his home on Springwood Loop Friday.

Williams is charged with murder, burglary and armed robbery.

The incident report states that Williams hit Barrs several times in the head with a blunt and unidentified object.

Life for him? That's to easy. I beleive in an eye for an eye. Do the same to him that he did to that poor old man. I beleive if justice was served in this manner we would see less crime.
