Two robbed walking home from work

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Two gas station employees were robbed at gunpoint while they were walking home from work Saturday.

Two men wearing masks approached Melissa Hayes and Christopher Hogg with guns on their way home from Lucky Trip Gas Station located on 2260 Lumpkin Road.

One of the masked men asked Hayes to hand over her pay check while the other man put the barrel of his gun on the back of Hogg’s neck

The men stole Hayes’ purse containing $142, keys to the gas station and her cell phone. They also took Hogg’s cell phone.

Both men were last seen running west on Lumpkin Road.

Well, oldfella62- maybe her job cashes her check for her and she had cash in her purse...stranger things have happened- people cash other people's social security checks all the time. Don't be so quick to try and put blame on the VICTIMS
