Fireworks experts say you should light fireworks on a hard surface and always have a bucket or water or dirt around you just in case a fire starts.

When lighting your fireworks, you should use a lighting stick and not use your hands to hold the fireworks.

And make sure you follow the instruction before using the fireworks. If you don't understand them or aren't sure how to use them, ask the firework experts before you leave the store.
