Truckers Across The U.S. Protest High Fuel Prices
TRENTON, N.J. (AP)- Some truckers have been pulling off the highway. Others are slowing down to a crawl, with some getting tickets for holding up traffic. It's all to protest high fuel prices. Outside Newark, a Turnpike Authority spokesman says there was a And more than 50 big rig drivers near Port Tampa in Florida decided to park it rather than drive to demand that contractors pay them more to cover their fuel costs.
