Update: Relative of US Olympic coach killed in Beijing

We are learning more about an attack on an American couple in Beijing.

Saturday a Chinese man stabbed and killed Todd Bachman. He is the father of former Olympian Elizabeth Bachman.

His wife was also attacked and seriously injured. The attack happened while the family was visiting a popular tourist site called the Drum Tower.

The killer, jumped to his death from the second story of that building after the attack. Saturday, President Bush addressed the issue in a press conference.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. The United States government has offered to provide any assistance the family needs," said President Bush.

Elizabeth Bachman is married to a coach for the U.S. Olympic volleyball team.
