South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford says he knows he bumbled a CNN Sunday talk show interview.

The Republican mentioned as a possible running mate for Arizona
Sen. John McCain told reporters Tuesday he's an imperfect
messenger.

In his interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer, Sanford bumbled when
asked what differences McCain has with President Bush.

Sanford says talk shows only give you a second or two to respond
and ``sometimes your brain works well; sometimes it doesn't. But
that's being human.''
