New felony charges for Trexler Family

By NBCAugusta Producers

Richland County Investigators say new felony charges could be placed for animal cruelty on the Trexler family.

Forensic scientists examined fresh horse bones found at the Trexler's land.

The test revealed that the animals died of starvation.

The family is already accused of starving and neglecting dozens of horses.

The Richland County Solicitor Office says despite the new forensic evidence, no warrants have been issued.
