Pull on your boots and strap on your spurs for the second annual Professional Bull Riding event at the USC Aiken Convocation center.

It's an event that's drawing a cowboy crowd.

"Get on, do your stuff, pull your rope, get out," said bull rider Jock Connolly.

It's a philosophy these bull riders use to battle the bulls. All it takes is eight full seconds...seconds riders say you'd have to experience for yourself.

"The rush is like nothing else. You see people doing drugs and alcohol. You want a high, come and do this. This is the good stuff,” said Connolly.

It boils down to man and beast. Once these riders climb into the chute, it's all about holding on.

"When you are hanging by the side with about two fingers waiting for that buzzer that's when it gets intense," said Connolly.

Each fall is painful, but it brings the rider back to prove their strength. Each time, the crowd is there to back them up.

All the proceeds from ticket sales will go to the USC Aiken baseball team.
