Man charged with murder in Colleton County

WALTERBORO, S.C. (AP) - Colleton County sheriff's deputies have
arrested a man in the death of a woman whose body was found a road
near her house.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reports the body of
47-year-old Brenda E. Bailey was found Friday night after someone
saw a man remove a body from a vehicle.
Coroner Rich Harvey said he's awaiting further tests following
an autopsy Sunday.
Deputies have charged 34-year-old Haskell C. Frasier III of
Walterboro with murder. Frasier also is charged with burglary
larceny of her vehicle, which was found near the crime scene.
Sheriff George Malone said Sunday that Frasier and Bailey knew
each other. Malone said there were no signs of breaking and
entering. It was unclear Monday whether Frasier had an attorney.
