ACORN pulled out of SC 2 years ago
(AP)- Authorities say an activist group accused of voter registration fraud hasn't been a problem in South Carolina since it left the state two years ago amid an investigation here. The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, known Voter Registration Director Lillian McBride said law enforcement was called when a woman reported receiving a voter registration card for which she never applied.
