Driver plows into ghost tour group in Charleston
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Things got a little spookier than expected during a Charleston ghost tour when a driver lost control of her car and plowed into the group. The Charleston Post and Courier reports two people suffered minor injuries in the Tuesday night incident near Charleston's famous Four Corners of Law at Meeting and Broad streets. Police say the driver of the Mazda RX7 accidentally hit the gas instead of the clutch. The driver, who was not ticketed, said she recently bought the car but had only driven it a few times. Bulldogs Tour owner John La Verne refunded the $18 tour fee, La Verne says he's glad the accident wasn't worse, saying Charleston doesn't "need any more ghost stories.''
