Newberry College football coach fired
NEWBERRY, S.C. (WIS) - Sources tell Columbia's WIS-TV that Newberry College football coach Zak Willis has been fired just days after the spring football game at Newberry. Willis spent six years as the head coach enjoying his best season in 2006 when he took his team to the playoffs. There is no immediate word on who will replace him, but the source says a replacement will be named Friday.
