Tornado reported moving from N.C. to S.C.
HICKORY GROVE, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a possible tornado has moved from North Carolina into South Carolina, dropping a tree on a busy highway and knocking down hundreds of trees. The National Weather Service says it got several reports of a tornado Tuesday evening in Cleveland County, N.C., as a severe storm moved through, knocking at least one tree on to Interstate 85, blocking a southbound lane. The storm then moved into York County, where Emergency Management Director Cotton Howell says it caused about 5,000 power No injuries were reported.
