AIKEN, S.C. - A former Aiken County school administrator has been formally charged for sexually assaulting students.
A grand jury indicted Stephen Eubanks on 19 criminal charges.
Eubanks is currently under house arrest.
Investigators say he sexually assaulted several students 30 years ago.
According to the arrest warrants, Eubanks allowed a 15-year-old boy to perform sex acts on him in 1977. Eubanks is also accused of taking that child to rest areas in Aiken County and forcing him to perform sex acts with other men.
That same year, Eubanks is accused of forcing a 15-year-old girl to touch him inappropriately.
Another person claims he was forced to perform sex acts for Eubanks in 1993. He says he was 13 at the time.
Eubanks became an assistant principal at North Augusta High School in 1971. In 1976, he became the Principal at Paul Knox Middle school. In 1978, he transferred to the Georgetown County School District. Then he moved on to be an assistant superintendent in Lancaster County. Eubanks stopped teaching in South Carolina in 1999.
