COLUMBIA, S.C. - Graniteville residents testified to the Public Service Commission about water rates they think are unfair.
A hearing took place in Columbia on Tuesday. It was held to discuss rate increases for customers of Avondale Mills.
In some cases people saw a 700% increase.
Avondale attorneys also called witnesses to testify before the PSC.
Another meeting is scheduled for October 15th when the Department of Regulation will make a recommendation on what the PSC should do about the rates.
