UPDATE: Deputies respond to car crash in Monetta

MONETTA, S.C. – Aiken County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car accident in Monetta.

Aiken County dispatchers tell NBC Augusta 26 News the accident happened at 3:20 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Highway 1 and Chinquapin Church Road.

The sheriff’s office immediately turned the accident over to South Carolina Highway Patrol. It is not known how many cars were involved.

We're told no one was seriously hurt.
