Local Election Results: Bowles, Lockett win; District 1 goes to runoff

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Election results are in from all across Georgia-Carolina.
In the Augusta Commission District 1, Matt Aitken and Bill Fennoy head to a runoff on Dec. 1. In District 3, incumbent Commissioner Joe Bowles was re-elected with 80 percent of the vote. In District 5, Bill Lockett won a narrow victory over former Augusta commissioner Bobby Hankerson.
