An Augusta bird is in the national spotlight. Booger Bear, the singing parrot from Augusta, was just featured on national television.

He's a 10-year-old Yellow Naped Amazon. And since his birth he's learned to talk and sing.

But his owner says she still has some goals to perfect his performance.

"I want to teach him the last word of 'Row, Row, Row Your Boat,' which is dream. He sings the whole song except the last word," said Lynn Reed.

Booger Bear was raised by Reed since birth. She says he's a natural learner.
