NBC NEWS- Identical twin brothers recently showed up at a Fort Worth, Texas, hospital with what doctors said may be a first: twin traumas.

The McGraw twins were both injured while playing for the same team in the same baseball game.

Right-handed Nathan dislocated his right kneecap in the second inning.

Then his left-handed brother, Ryan, dislocated his left kneecap.

"I was just like, 'No, not me,'" Ryan McGraw said. "Not both of us. I was just like, 'No way.'"

Doctors at Harris Methodist Hospital said they were amazed by the double whammy.

Dr. Robert Gullinese said it was "very, very unusual" to see two people, brothers no less, with the same type of injury on the same night.

The boys' friends said the twin injuries are the talk of Sanger.

The brothers will recover on crutches for four weeks.

Like they do with everything else, they will do it together.

"We'll get through this together," Nathan McGraw said. "I've got my support buddy. We'll work it out."

They said they hope to get back to baseball in four weeks flat.
