NBC NEWS- What has five legs but walks on three?

How about “Angel” a mixed breed dog from Avon Lake, Ohio.

The now 7-month-old pooch was born with two small front legs on her left side.

Other than the unusual growth Angel seems healthy and happy.

X-rays show a genetic aberration split one of her legs into two.

The vet said surgery is unlikely, because it would only be cosmetic and would not improve angel's ability to walk.

Angel will be put up for adoption by the St. Francis Animal Sanctuary in Vermilion, Ohio.
