NBC NEWS- Sandra Frosti found an unexpected visitor in her kitchen Monday night.

The 69-year-old Pinellas County, Florida, resident was startled when an eight-foot long alligator strolled into the room.

She immediately dialed 911 for help.

Frosti believes the gator pushed through a screen door on her back porch.

The animal cut itself on a piece of broken glass from a plate that it knocked to the floor in the kitchen, but wasn't seriously hurt.

A trapper was able to remove it without further incident.
