About 30 Cross Creek High School Students Suspended
More than 30 students were suspended from Cross Creek High School on Friday following concerns about a possible fight. Richmond County's Sheriff's Office received a tip about possible gang violence taking place at the school Friday morning. Deputies searched every student that day looking for weapons. In the end, investigators did not find anything. But school officials decided to suspend dozens of kids they say have caused problems in the past. |

My son was one of the students that they suspended and I would like to be able to tell our side of the story. My child is not and never has been affiliated with a gang. This is unfair and I believe that it should be a lot of investigation before they just suspend kids for what looks like a ploy to get rid of the students that they don't want to deal with any more this year. My son as not been in any trouble this year and I believe all this needs to be investigated.
