A Florida judge ordered Casey Anthony, whose daughter Caylee is missing, to be held on $500,000 bond and to wear a GPS locating device if she does bond out. This came after testimony from Anthony, members of her family, and investigators who said they discovered hair samples similar to Caylee's in the trunk of her mother's car. And that the car smelled of decomposition. Mother Cindy Anthony started by blowing a kiss to her daughter Casey. Then mother and daughter began by breaking into tears. Cindy Anthony says "this is the first thing I've seen caylee or casey in a week." Anthony assured Judge Stan Strickland that she would abide by his rules and even delegate people to "Casey-sit" if she came back to stay at the family home. Cindy Anthony says "I can't, I'm not going to handcuff her anywhere. So I will provide someone with her at all times. I've already talked to her friends." Orange County detectives put their cards on the table, outlining what they call evidence of human decomposition they say they found in Casey Anthony's trunk. Detective Yuri Melich says "we found hair samples in the trunk of the car that are similar to length and color of that of Casey. We also found a stain inside the trunk of the car that came up under blacklight that's questionable that we need to process." Cindy and George Anthony agonized hearing the detective testify that their granddaughter Caylee may no longer be alive. But now that Casey Anthony is aware of detectives suspicions, prosecutors argued, she is a flight risk. Prosecutor Linda Drain says "the risk of her flight if she is released on some low bond increases exponentially especially now she's heard this additional evidence and that she is their person of interest in what looks to be a homicide investigation." Anthony was arrested last week after reporting that her daughter had been missing since last month. She's been charged with obstructing the investigation into her daughter's disappearance and could face additional charges. I can only conclude that, by not talking, she knows that she cannot help her child now and is protecting herself. What other reason could there be? Wednesday, Jul 23 at 11:07 PM nika wrote ...i wonder why the grandparents aren't as much suspects as the mom, they all lived together, the car is actually the grandfathers. the grandmother said that "Casey would have one or two reasons not to say anything ad that somebody may be threatening her in some way" could those one or two reasons be the grandmother and grandfather and that it is them- they people Casey is most dependent on emotionally and financially who are making the threat? the grandfather is an ex cop, too. Wednesday, Jul 23 at 6:49 PM me wrote ...Hmmm... The ex boyfriend heard the little girl on the phone after she was missing (or dead as all you like to think) and she has been spotted and said her name. Yet everyone want to fry the Mom. I would do whatever it took to keep my kid alive if kiddnapped, even lie to police. But hey without knowing if she is dead you are all ready to hang the mom. So much for being an American... No one thought Scott Peterson did what he did because the facts had not come out. Just as facts have not come to light on this story. They both seem to know things. i have a 1 yr old and the thought of anyone hurting her, let alone of her dying just doesn't register. I don't know how she can be so calm about her daughter disappearing. If the baby is gone, she is in Gods hands as well as judgment for her mother. Casey Anthony is not a mother. A mother would at least cooperate with the authorities. Wednesday, Jul 23 at 11:52 AM alexis wrote ...she just needs to tell where the baby is so they can bury her. then she can sit in the electric chair and fry for what she did. who reprots their child missing after a month....something she isn't telling....i say lock her in a trunk till she tells where that little precious angel is Wednesday, Jul 23 at 11:19 AM Lori wrote ...The mother and grandmothers are whacked. Where is the child? They know she's dead and they know the mother killed her. Wednesday, Jul 23 at 10:32 AM sam wrote ...I have no symathy for casey anthony !! Where is your daughter ?! Wednesday, Jul 23 at 10:17 AM jennifer wrote ...the mother is guilty of killing her child. just tell everyone where she is so the baby can have a proper burial. the grandmother is a nut case as is the rest of the family. may god hold this child forever in his kingdom. and for the grandmother, Add a comment |

This story infuriates me. Casey is a prime example of naracism at the expense of all others. Gas cans in her car, borrowed a shovel from a neighbor, not concerned about her little one...she's a predator. Guilty.
