Augusta man indicted in sex crimes

A Richmond County grand jury has indicted an Augusta man who is accused of several sexual assaults.

Charles James was indicted on 13 criminal acts that include aggravated sodomy, attempted rape, kidnapping with bodily injury and aggravated battery.

James is accused of attacking three women in May and June.

He is being held without bond.
