New Augusta car dealership opening postponed

NBC Augusta has new information about a car dealership coming to this area.

CarMax will open later than sooner. The nation's largest auto retailer, was set to open in the spring, but will now be pushed back until at least the summer of 2009.

The reason for the setback is because CarMax's production is slowing, and sales are down.

The dealership is located near the intersection of I-20 and Wheeler Road. It's now going to bring about 65 jobs to the area, which is fewer than first expected.
