AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Masters is over; a Green Jacket was won and memories were made, but were the expensive ticket prices worth it for the tens of thousands who entered the gates of the Augusta National this year?

For many first-time visitors, The Masters Tournament did not disappoint.

"It absolutely exceeded expectations,” said Mitch Wilneff of Chicago. "It's just so beautiful. The course is beautiful and the people are so friendly."

Wilneff spent Sunday out on the course with his young son and another friend with his son.

Masters officials went through painstaking preparations to ensure everything ran as smooth as possible during the tournament. Fans were able to appreciate the structure.

"I'm amazed at how well organized everything is,” said Tim Doherty of Denver. “That's the thing that hits you, is just how well [the Augusta National] seems to do this."

When asked, many golf fans said there was little room for improvement in The Masters Tournament.

Fans said they would love come back for the 2010 Masters.

“I'd come every year if I had the opportunity," said Dustin Pearce of Houston.

Out of town visitors also said they were impressed by how easy the roads and traffic were to navigate in Augusta at this year's Masters.
