Bristol Palin says abstinence is the best path for teensNEW YORK (AP)- Unwed mother Bristol Palin says abstinence is a realistic way for teens to avoid unwanted pregnancy and says if she could do it all over again, she would've waited to have sex. The 19-year-old daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is in New York Wednesday to help promote National Teen Pregnancy Awareness Day. Palin told ABC's "Good Morning America" that abstinence is the safest and best choice for teens. She also says her 4-month-old son is getting chubby and is starting to giggle. She says he's the love of her life, but wishes she could have had him later in life. Sarah Palin announced her daughter's pregnancy on Sept. 1, days after Sen. John McCain picked her to be his Republican vice presidential running mate. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
