Escaped Burke County inmate arrested in Charlotte

WAYNESBORO, Ga. - The escaped inmate from Burke County is in jail.

Jerry Jones was arrested at the Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. Investigators did not say why he was at the hospital.

He had escaped from his work detail almost two weeks ago.

Once his extradition hearing he'll be headed back to Burke County.
