Newberry College Plans To Go Without A Nickname Next Year
NEWBERRY, S.C. (AP)- Newberry College plans to go without a nickname next year as the school searches for a possible replacement for its ``Indians'' name that has come under fire from the NCAA. The (Columbia) State newspaper reported Wednesday that trustees School leaders were to discuss the decision later Wednesday.
