Thomas Neal hit his 3rd home run in 2 games...he's now got 11 on the season... and 'Jackets pitcher Madison Bumgarner took over from there.

The Giants first round draft choice from 2007, Bumganer continues to baffle batters at the plate... picking up his 9th win of the season tonight... striking out 11 batters in 7 innings... giving up no runs on 4 hits... and lowering his era to 1.79. This is Madison's mound and if you haven't seen throw... he's well worth the price of admission... as the GreenJackets win 2-0 against the Hagerstown Suns in the start of a big 8 game homestand. T

The GreenJackets win coupled with a loss by the Columbus Catfish at West Virginia pulls Augusta back into a tie for first place in the South Atlantic League Southern Division second half race.
