They said it couldn't be done, an American soccer team going to Europe and beating the hosts at their sport, but a team from Barnwell did just that. Thursday they returned home winners.

The BSC united returned home from London, England on Thursday night to a town filled with sound and applause for what they had accomplished.

The girls become one of the first United States youth soccer clubs to go to over seas and beat the Europeans at their sport. They would go 4 and 0 in the tournament.
