At Silver Bluff last night the Bulldogs showed why they've got something to jump about this season... but early on it was North Augusta's d putting a lick on the Dawgs for a safety and 2-0 score... but Silver Bluff head coach Al Lown watched as freshman quarterback Cordrea Tanklersley got up off the mat and marched his team towards a 35 yard field goal by Kyle Mackey to win 3-2.

That game was preceeed by South Aiken's 14-0 win against Ridge Spring Monetta... in which Denzell Washington scored twice... ...no acting here folks... this is the real deal... and each time the South Aiken cheerleaders did pushups for each point on the board.

In the Aiken vs. Midland Valley scrimmage, the Hornets sting first... Kessler Scott up top to Demetrius Washington... 7-0 Aiken... they'd add another score on a run by Cortez Abney from close range... the Mustangs go in the air for their touchdown... and Midland Valley too looks like they will be a team to watch this season... Aiken prevails in this one 14-7.

Checking in the opening game of the Jamboree... Williston-Elko put their high power offense in gear against Wagener-Salley 30-0... on a picture perfect night for football at the Aiken County Jamboree at Silver Bluff High School.
