The former head coach for the Augusta Colts says he plans to sue his former team!

At a press conference Thursday Bubba Diggs said the team's majority owner, John Sisson, owes him thousands of dollars.

Diggs claims he has a written contract with the Colts that runs through the end of the year.

Diggs also says Colts majority owner John Sisson stopped paying him in July.

"At this point and time I'm just wanting to bring closure to the situation. If the Colts move forward, decide to bring me back or however they want to do business, I just want to be compensated the way Mr. Sisson told me when he purchased the team from Mr. Young," said Diggs.

Diggs gave NBC Augusta two copies of what he says is proof of employment with the Augusta Colts. It states that he is under contract until December 31, 2008.

NBC Augusta took the memos to the Colts' business office to give them a chance to comment, but their doors were locked.

NBC Augusta also left a message for John Sisson but so far, he has not returned our calls.
