Stan Byrdy

Such was the case in Columbia County tonight as a full house was on hand for Greenbrier's home opener against the Evans Knights. After a scoreless first half Evans edges Greenbrier 7-0 as the Knights turn back their Columbia County rivals for the second straight year.

NBC Augusta Sports Director Stan Byrdy was on hand for the contest and has highlights and your "Band Of the Week."

I agree with the comment about coaching...why does Greenbrier have 90 plays that they have been working on since April and use only 4 of them...what is the hype about Blake Ross all about?? This kid has more INTs than completions in the first 2 games...might be time for Smith to go with #6 Chris Smith...16 yds on 13 carries isn't gonna cut it when they go to ATL!!!!

Stan, you've got to be kidding me. While it was a close game, Finch from Evans, had a monster game running the ball, probably over 200 yards, most of it after first contact, and your report barely mentioned him. How come you didn't include his stats as he was the game MVP!! Your report is worse than the Evans and Greenbriar coaching!!
