Coming into this season Lakeside and Richmond County were the models of futility neither school making playoffs in the last 5 years, but that streak is on it's way to ending this season. In the two years prior to 2008 these programs won a combined six games, but through five weeks this season they've already won seven. Going into Friday night the Panthers had won the last two meetings between these programs.

In the first half turnovers would plague the Panthers. On their opening drive of the game Lakeside's Chad Chandler would be picked off by ARC's John Lee. It wouldn't take the Muskateers long to capitalize on the turnover as Jarel Anderson takes 48 yards to give the Muskateers a six to nothing lead.

The Lakeside offense would move the ball it just wouldn't show on the scoreboard as they fall 30 to nothing. With the win ARC moves to 5 and 1 on the year. Lakeside falls to 3 and 3.
