GreenJacket First Baseman Pablo Sandoval wasn't picked for last week's South Atlantic League All-Star game.
But he might have the best shot of any Jacket player to make it to the big leagues.
Sandoval has been selected for July 9th's Futures Game in Pittsburgh.
The event coincides with Major League Baseball's all-star week and features the top minor league prospects at all levels.
Sandoval has been struggling this year, hitting only 2--57. But he's hoping to change that at the Futures game.
Sandoval is the third player with GreenJacket connections to be a part of the game. Marcus Sanders and Hanley Ramirez were picked last year.
