Quinton "Rampage" Jackson leaving the UFC?

According to a blog on his website Quinton "Rampage" Jackson appears to be on his way out of the UFC.

"I'm done fighting", Jackson wrote.

A source close to Jackson told MMAWeekly.com that Jackson said he wasn't going to fight for the UFC unless "they offered him a (explitive) of money."

Last month Jackson was heavily criticized by UFC President Dana White after it was announced he would be playing the role of B.A Baracus in the upcoming remake of the A-Team.

Just as a heads up to everyone talking about how much more boxers get paid...that only applies to the elite headliners. The undercard fighters get a pittance. The top guys in UFC make a lot of money in endorsements, fight more often and everyone is able to secure bonuses for FOTN or SOTN.

Understanding boxing and jiu-jutsu requires time and practice like anything else, not an education. If UFC fighters don't make enough money, they'd quit or join another organization. It's about supply and demand people. UFC fighters are not paid enough. It's hard work training for a fight, going in, getting your ass kicked and wether you win or not get $6000.00. Now, the more popular fighters, get paid OK, maybe a half million for a champion, but compared to boxing they get stiffed.

I'm not sure what Quintons educational background is but, I never heard anyone say that you had to be a Rhodes Scolar to be a UFC champion. You just have to be able to kick your opponents butt.
