Anderson Silva has won 10 straight matches in the UFC but he may face his toughest test on January 2nd as he defends his middleweight title against Vitor Belfort.
Now a contract has yet to be signed but UFC President Dana White told the Los Angeles Times he had verbal agreements for the fight to take place.
Silva(25-4) is coming off a first round knockout of Forrest Griffin at UFC 101 while Belfort(18-8) made his return to the UFC at UFC 103 with a first round knockout of former middleweight champion Rich Franklin.
UFC 108 will take place on January 2nd in Las Vegas.
