After battling an illness for the last three-and-a-half weeks UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has opted to pull out of his UFC 106 matchup with Shane Carwin.
The fight was scheduled to take place on November 21 in Las Vegas. Carwin said on his Twitter page that the fight will instead take place at UFC 108 on January 2.
With the fight being postponed the new main event for the UFC 106 card is likely to be Evans' Forrest Griffin taking on Tito Ortiz. The fight was orginially scheduled as the co-main event of the night.
