AUGUSTA, Ga. - Indoor football is back in Augusta! The owners of the Augusta Colts announced the team will be back for the 2010 season. Tryouts are underway for the Augusta Colts football team.
Owner John Sisson says fans should see some changes in the upcoming season. The Colts will be a part of the Southern Indoor Football League which means all games will be played regionally. This makes games more cost effective for the teams and the fans.
Sisson say the team's just glad to get back in the game.
“I'm just thrilled. There was a side of us that thought this would never happen. But we've put together a wonderful organization,” said Sisson.
Tickets are going to be family affordable as well--ranging anywhere from $10 to $30 depending on where you are sitting. Ten teams are a part of the Southern Indoor Football League.
