The pre Thanksgiving edition of Friday Night Lights was stuffed with plenty of drama and celebration as a few teams clinched state championship berths.

Over at Williston-Elko the Blue Devils built a 24-6 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back as they beat Ware Shoals 44-20 to advance to the class A state title game for the second straight year. Williston will play Scott's Branch on Friday at noon in Orangeburg.

A pair of local private schools will also get shots at state titles next week. Thomas Jefferson beat Fullington 30-24 to advance. They will play Terrell in next weeks final. Brentwood would also advance as they beat Southwest GA 13-8.
