The Augusta Colts scored twice in the closing minute for a come from behind 53-42 win agianst the South Carolina Speed in their American Indoor Football League game at James Brown Arena. Augusta improved to 7-5 on the season to stay in the picture for postsason play.

The Augusta GreenJackets posted season records for runs scored and hits in a 16-10 South Atlantic League baseball game at Lake Olmstead Stadium. Brock Bond and garrett Baker each had 4 hits as the 'Jackets pounded out 18 hits in the victory.
