All year they've given flair to the Augusta Spartans football team. Now they're looking to win big for themselves.

The CSRA All Star Marching Band is practicing in preparation for Augusta's first ever All Star Battle of the Bands. Bands from all over the Georgia and other states will participate.

"It's the first time Augusta can see us on the field. They're used to seeing us at the Spartans games and stadiums. This time they'll see what we can do in a field performance," said band director, Travis McCauley.

The Battle of the Bands is scheduled for July 15th at 6:00pm at Richmond Stadium.
