EVANS, Ga. - Mt. Zion went up 7-0 with a score on their opening drive. On their first drive Jonathon Finch was gang tackled and went down on a play that he didnt even carry the ball... he spent most of the first half injured on the sidelines. Moments later the Knights turned the ball over and halfway through the first quarter Mt. Zion Jonesboro cashed in again to take a 15-0 lead.

Troy Griffith got things going in the air as the Knights mounted a scoring drive of their own... but despite their best efforts the Knights were forced to settle for 3 to make it 15-3. Penalties and micues cost the Knights dearly in this first round playoff game as the Bulldogs scored again beofre the half to make it 22-3. Mt. Zion-Jonesboro advances with a 36 to 10 win against the Evans Knights on Friday Night Lights.
