Strom Thurmond, Williston-Elko, Blackville-Hilda advance in South Carolina playoffs

Due to weather many playoff games in both South Carolina and Georgia had to be played on Saturday.

Strom Thurmond was at home hosting Southside. The Rebels would build a 28 to 7 lead in the first half as they advance with the 61-27 win. Next week Strom Thurmond will host Central. Williston-Elko and Blackville-Hilda would also advance on the South Carolina side. On the Georgia side both Thomson and Jefferson County would advance.

Meanwhile great seasons for both Silver Bluff and Midland Valley came to an end on Saturday. Silver Bluff fell 15-13 to Dillon and Midland Valley fell to Camden 35-27. Barnwell would also fall on Saturday.
