Gib Hobson made his first start on the mound for the 'Jackets and pitched well.... giving up just one earned run through 5 innings.
With Charleston taking a 1-0 lead with a home run in the 4th... the 'Jackets strike with 3 of their own in the bottom half of the inning.

Andrew Davis was the batting star, cashing in with a pair of doubles and 3 RBI on the night as the first place Augusta GreenJackets win it 5 to 4 against the RiverDogs. The GreenJackets improve to 22 games above the .500 mark onthe season and to a 12-3 record in the second half.
