Stan Byrdy

They got another strong performance by first round draft choice Madison Bumgarner who gave up 2 runs in 5 innings of work for the no decision... as the Jackets brought out the red, white and blue uniforms.

Garret Baker's double down the right field line scored Shane Jordan and Nick Noonan to give the 'Jackets the early 2-0 lead. Noonan and Baker later led off the 6th inning with back to back doubles. Thomas Neal followed with a two run double to give Augusta 4-2 lead... and they never looked back en route to their 7th straight win at home.

The GreenJackets are now 23 games above .500 for the season... 13-3 in second half play... and played before a season best 5,566 in attendance at Lake Olmstead Stadium.
