The 6-2 Bulldogs went to work against Woodland tonight. Frederick Blanchard with the lightning strike to Joe Carter to set up Silver Bluff's first score. Moments later, Jamal Beal goes around left end for the score to give the Bulldogs an early 7-0 lead.

Woodland came right back with a controvertial score on a pass play to the endzone... two opposing players battled for possession the ball in the air and the football came loose... but ruled a touchdown for the Wolverines, who followed with another score to take a 12-7 lead.

Silver Bluff answered with a touchdown by Kendrick Garnett up the middle to give Silver Bluff the lead back at 14-12. And then the Bulldogs scored again as Blanchard flies the friendly skies to Joe Carter to the one. Jamal Beal carried it in from close range and Silver Bluff went on top 21-12.

Llate in the half Woodland connected on a long pass play to make it 21-20. Silver Bluff's Frederick Garnett ran the ensuing kickoff back to midfield and moments later Kyle Mackey toed it through the uprights from 42 yards out... and the Bulldogs led at halftime 24-20.

Silver Bluff runs its record to 7-2 with a 35-26 win at home to Woodland and travels to Barnwell for their regular season finale.
