On the strength of 20 points by Jerel Stephenson and 11 each by Reggie Middleton and Jihad McCloud, Glenn Hills rolled to victory in the first round of the state playoffs. Down 7-2 to start the game, the Spartans battled back for a two point lead at halftime. From that point on though, the Spartans outclassed their first round opponent. That sets up another home game for Glenn Hills next Tuesday night.

In the AAAA playoffs, Richmond Academy also looks to be peaking at the right time. With Corey Bynes scoring 31 points, the Muskateers downed Americus Sumter 76-52 intheir first round game.
