When A.L. Williams coached baseball at ARC back in the '50's... the Academy also won 3 straight Southeast U.S. titles. in that whirlwind year by the class of '57... ARC won state championships in football, baseball, golf and track... and finished second in basketball. But its coach Williams' that they feted at ARC today... as players and well-wishers came to see the "Grandaddy" of baseball in Augusta... including former Major League great Jack Fisher, who made the trip from Pennsylvania to be here.
